Why Desert Sports & Fitness

What sets us apart from the rest of the gyms in the area? We are a Fitness Training Facility that allows you to experience our services before you make a commitment. We are not in the business of renting equipment to people, we are in the business of helping people achieve their goals!

We offer programs for weight loss, weight gain, general conditioning, rehabilitation, and athletic training. We invite you to come in, meet our staff, experience a workout, and see firsthand our exceptional service. We’ve made it quick and simple.

  • Step 1 - Health PAR-Q

    To discuss health/exercise history and personal goals - PAR-Q (or Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) is a 7-step questionnaire that screens for evidence of risk factors during moderate physical activity. A PAR-Q highlights any medical conditions or physical inabilities that a trainer may need to take into consideration during training.

  • Step 2 – InBody

    Go beyond the scale with a non-invasive, quick, and accurate body composition analysis - The InBody Body Composition Test provides a comprehensive view of body composition balance and provides a detailed report with your weight, muscle mass, body fat percentage, lean analysis, and water content.

  • Step 3 – FMS

    1-on-1 Fitness Evaluation - FMS (or Functional Movement Screen) is a screening tool used to evaluate seven fundamental movement patterns in individuals. The FMS is used to demonstrate opportunities for improved movement in individuals.
