Liver disease occurs in every age group, especially people over 50 who are at high risk of heart disease because of such risks as obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Fatty Liver disease usually causes no signs or symptoms. What causes a fatty Liver? Is it Diet? Is it hereditary? Is it a benign disease? These questions and more will be addressed.

Why is adding muscle critical as we age? Chances are you’ve not heard it the way Dr. McGuire tells it. He also will get your attention when he talks about abdominal fat and shares facts about the truth of carbohydrates. These are topics we need to better understand, and he does it well since he has taught human physiology, anatomy and cellular biology. Dr. McGuire has a passion to share his experience in how the human body functions and how to improve quality of life with natural solutions.

Claudication refers to impairment in walking, pain, discomfort, numbness, or tiredness in the legs that occurs during walking or standing and is relieved by rest. Dr. Lavor retired from general surgery in 2014, although he continues @ Saguaro Surgical, the center he founded, as Medical Director.
